The Power of Digital Leadership

The other day we were discussing the power of digital leadership as it relates to the work that teachers and students do on a weekly basis in our schools.  This is one of the most important components of our professional lives.  In today's world it is imperative that the principal, or leadership of a campus supports and encourages the technology applications that deepen learning on the campus.

As we begin to go deeper with our designs and thinking and our Innovative Educators Academy, as well as all teachers, we have been asking ourselves these questions:

1.  Do we have the buy in for this project with campus administrators?
2.  Does the culture of the campus support the higher levels of SAMR?
3.  What other teacher leaders exist on the campus for support?
4.  How will we know that we have been successful?

If you are a McKinney ISD campus administrator, please think about your vision for instructional technology on your campus.  Ask yourself the questions from above.
Get your MRS involved in the conversation about SAMR with your staff.

The possibilities are endless if you engage your power as a confident, digital leader.
